About This Game

Vehicles are constructed with fully simulated physics and equipped with future technologies such as Micro-Fusion reaction, Power Cells, and ERS. Ultra-high speeds of 1,000 Mph / 1,600 Kph are achieved through live fly-by-wire and adaptive vehicle set-ups, where the car automatically adjusts spoilers, downforce, springs, and compression based on speed and position. If you prefer not to use the fly-by-wire tuning, you can manually tune the vehicle at any speed. This title features unique strategy racing mechanics including Track capture with four sectors per lap where times affect resources. You can collect electricity and plasma mid-race to spend on live vehicle upgrades, assist teammates, upgrade track sectors, or activate track abilities to boost your team or hinder opponents. Mid-race upgrades cover engine power, booster settings, ERS efficiency, and capacitor storage. Track abilities offer area-based effects like speed boosts or energy draining. If you dislike the default strategy design, you can use the in-game Race Builder to create your own. The adaptive set-up enables upside-down driving using downforce at high speeds, featured on 360-degree tracks. Despite the visuals, this is not an arcade racer. If you dislike the provided tracks, use the in-game track builder to create and share custom tracks instantly from the main menu. The game runs on a custom engine designed for high frame rates and physics sample rates for smooth handling. This engine also powers the award-winning My Drive School simulation. 22 Racing Series is currently in Early Access from an independent team without publisher backing, ideal for players who want to influence development. VR support is available; the team were early Oculus backers, and while not the primary focus, the VR mode has received positive feedback.
