Awesomenauts presents a MOBA experience structured as an accessible 3-on-3 action platformer. You and your friends can head to the online battlefields as a party or play in local splitscreen. Create strategies by upgrading and customizing the skills of each character to fit your personal playstyle. In the year 3587, war stretches across the stars as colossal robot armies are stuck in a permanent stalemate. To achieve galactic dominance, they enlist the strongest mercenary group in the universe: the Awesomenauts. The game brings back the Saturday morning cartoon vibe with 3v3 online platforming action. It features all the MOBA elements you expect, including classes, upgrades, creeps, turrets, and bases, while adding fast platforming for a unique experience. You can take command of a wide array of highly customizable Awesomenauts, complete with their own abilities, upgrades, skins, and themes. The game offers a fully-featured map editor integrated with Steam Workshop for custom games and community content. You can enjoy splitscreen action with up to 3 players online or offline, earn Awesomepoints to unlock customization items, and engage in intense battles on various exotic planets and alien ships.
