About This Game

Constructed using Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada delivers extensive fleet management capabilities during and between battles. Players oversee everything from agile frigates to massive, mile-long battleships, customizing weapons, defensive and support subsystems, as well as crew and captains. These customizations directly impact ship performance and unlock special abilities for combat. Surviving crews and admirals gain experience and promotions through battles, increasing their readiness for larger and deadlier conflicts. Beyond a deep multiplayer mode featuring persistent fleets for up to four players, the game includes a substantial story campaign set during the 12th Black Crusade and the ensuing Gothic War between the Imperium and Abaddon the Despoiler. Players command massive armadas as Chaos forces launch a series of surprise assaults on Imperial worlds, sparking twenty years of warfare in the sector. The game features a vast single-player campaign, four distinct factions with unique strengths, tactical PvP multiplayer, a wide selection of authentically recreated ships, and real-time strategy gameplay that stays true to the tabletop's tactical roots. Players can utilize a variety of lore-compliant skills and apply upgrades at Port Maw. Cross-platform play is supported between Steam, GOG, and Windows Store.
