About the Game

Marking the first high-resolution 2D fighting game from the makers of the Guilty Gear franchise, BlazBlue offers a classic 2D brawling experience where two opponents face off. The narrative centers on internal strife within a dominant group informally referred to as "the Library." This organization commands a massive power that previously rescued mankind but now utilizes it in a manner deemed protective by some and oppressive by others.

A game round is termed a "rebel," and a match consists of one to five of these rounds. Victory is achieved by draining the opponent's health bar through attacks or by possessing more health than the rival when the timer expires. Characters utilize weak, medium, and strong attacks, along with a special ability known as a Drive attack, which is unique to every fighter.
