Bohemian Killing
Set in 1894 Paris, social inequality and deep-seated racism ultimately spark a calamity. One year later, you stand accused of a savage murder and must face the court. To what lengths will you go to clear your name? You can lie, tamper with evidence, shift blame, feign madness, or even confess; your creativity is the only boundary.

About This Game
Experience a Steampunk version of Paris during the late 19th century, a city torn between tradition and progress where class gaps and prejudice lead to disaster. A year after the tragic event, you are on trial for a vicious homicide. Will you deceive the court, hunt for proof to support your claims, or perhaps pretend to be mentally unstable? The possibilities are endless. Bohemian Killing is a narrative-focused courtroom drama that offers players nearly limitless ways to resolve the lawsuit by seamlessly blending gameplay with the story. It is also the first legal-themed title crafted by a real-life lawyer. The story unfolds in a post-revolutionary Paris where Alfred Ethon, a young Gypsy inventor, becomes a symbol of success until a young maid is murdered. Evidence points to Alfred, but you have the power to alter that. Combining courtroom drama with walking simulator elements, the game operates in two timelines: the present trial and flashbacks triggered by questions. Your decisions in these flashbacks directly impact your testimony and the final verdict. You can access and refute expert opinions, reports, and witness statements in various ways. Whether you choose to accuse a neighbor of lying or create an elaborate backstory to explain incriminating details, the game supports your strategy. With multiple endings and two gameplay modes—Standard, which relies on your problem-solving skills, and Story, where an advisor guides you—no path is considered wrong. The protagonist is voiced by acclaimed actor Stephane Cornicard, known for roles in "Saving Private Ryan," "Spectre," and the "Metal Gear Solid" series.
