About This Game

This collection includes Commander Keen: Invasion of the Vorticons, containing Episode 1: Marooned on Mars (Dec. 14th 1990), Episode 2: The Earth Explodes (1991), and Episode 3: Keen Must Die! (1991). It represents the hero's first journey and the debut of id's revolutionary side-scrolling engine. Players assume the role of Billy Blaze, an eight-year-old prodigy who transforms into Commander Keen. Upon discovering a threat to Earth, he equips his brother's football helmet and pilots a homemade starship to defend the planet. Also included is Commander Keen in Goodbye Galaxy!, featuring Episode 4: Secret of the Oracle (1991) and Episode 5: The Armageddon Machine (1991). As Billy Blaze, known throughout the cosmos as Commander Keen, you must utilize your pogo stick and neural stunner to navigate the Megarocket to the Shadowlands. To prevent the destruction of existence, you must overcome perilous obstacles and cunning enemies to avoid becoming space toast.
