About This Game
Craft The World presents a unique sandbox strategy experience that fuses Dungeon Keeper, Terraria, and Dwarf Fortress. Your mission involves exploring a randomly generated realm filled with dangerous beasts, constructing a dwarf fortress, accumulating resources, and manufacturing all required items, weapons, and armor. You lead a tribe of dwarves by instructing them where to dig, when to attack enemies, and how to construct buildings and other structures. You must supply your dwarves with food and clothing, and use magic to assist them in battles against the world's other inhabitants. You begin with a single dwarf and recruit more as your experience level grows. Each game level contains many layers of earth to explore, stretching from the sky down to boiling underground lava. The level is procedurally generated as an island bounded by natural limits: oceans at the edges, lava below, and the sky above. Additional features include a day-night cycle and dynamic weather. Worlds vary in size, humidity, temperature, terrain, and flora and fauna. Abandoned halls and rooms containing treasure are hidden deep within the islands. The game features a user-friendly crafting system with organized recipes. You can craft dozens of different items, including building blocks, furniture, decorations, weapons, armor, ammunition, and food. Initially, you find recipes for basic tools and build a small shelter with sleeping and eating areas. As the tribe expands, it attracts the attention of other inhabitants, mostly night creatures living underground. The world is populated by fantasy creatures such as zombies, skeletons, goblins, beholders, ghosts, giant spiders, and more. Some ignore dwarves unless seen, while others form large groups and attempt to invade the dwarven residence. Monster waves appearing from portals are especially dangerous, so you must build a safe haven with strong walls, trapdoors, cells, firing towers, and secret passages. As a divine being, you possess various spells to speed up dwarves, open small portals, light dark caves to scare monsters, conjure rain or grow trees, throw fireballs, and find hidden resources and rooms. These spells help speed up resource extraction, world exploration, and population growth.
