About This Game

Cuban Missile Crisis merges real-time strategy elements with a turn-based global tactical mode, plunging players into a universe torn apart by the military-political struggle between the USA and USSR during 1962. This title presents an alternate history scenario following the famous nuclear standoff involving the United States and Cuba. When the deadlock broke, both superpowers released their nuclear weapons, destroying metropolitan areas and leaving behind radioactive wastelands. Surviving cities understood that clean soil and water had become the most vital commodities. In this new reality, the remaining population fights a desperate war for existence. The game combines tactical real-time combat with turn-based global strategy, requiring players to manage resources and armies while maneuvering troops tactically. Seize resources, redraw borders, and forge a new world map. Key features include numerous missions across four conflicting factions: the USSR, the French and German alliance, China, and the American and British alliance. It introduces new weaponry and gear such as helicopters, rockets, and reconnaissance units. Additionally, radioactive contamination zones are present that impact both military hardware and soldiers.
