Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage

‘Darkness Within’ is an adventure series inspired by acclaimed horror writer H.P. Lovecraft. In this sequel, ‘The Dark Lineage’, players return as police detective Howard Loreid, a man haunted by paranormal occurrences following the events of ‘In Pursuit of Loath Nolder’. Howard now finds that his own disturbing past is tied to the insanity threatening to overtake him.

This title takes you to places where the past lives on and forgotten memories return, including the dreary town of Arkhamend, a Victorian mansion with dark secrets, a ruined building in snowy woods, and underground tunnels. The Dark Lineage is more terrifying than its predecessor, so ready yourself for the oncoming darkness.

The Director's Cut Edition for Steam includes exclusive additions: refreshed graphics for most settings, a new area to explore, and post-screen effects like Chromatic Aberration and Color gradation for a cinematic visual style. Gameplay has also been refined with new puzzles and enhancements.
