Deep Sky Derelicts

Set in a grim dystopian future where humanity is scattered and society is fractured, you play as a stateless outcast scavenging from derelict alien stations to survive. Your ultimate goal is to find a legendary alien ship in the Deep Sky sector to earn citizenship and a life on a habitable planet. Command a squad of up to three mercenaries, exploring derelict ships to find loot and clues. You will encounter traders but mostly enemies, whom you must defeat in tactical turn-based combat driven by a randomized card system. Gain experience, loot your foes, and return to your scavenger base to heal, level up, recruit new members, upgrade gear, and recharge energy. The game offers a fresh take on card-based combat, a polished sci-fi comic book aesthetic, extensive character customization, procedural generation for high replay value, and a narrative exploring a divided human society. Two game modes, Story and Arena, are available. Additionally, the game includes a free digital soundtrack and artbook, which can be found in the local files via the Steam Library properties.
