Once inside the Arena, each Demigod is accompanied by support troops that fight to the death as you strive to capture vital control points and gradually sway the war in your direction. During each battle, your Demigod levels up, growing stronger as you unlock fresh abilities and powers. It is a savage conflict of Demigod against Demigod, causing the very ground to tremble. Demigod is a real-time, tactical strategy game featuring extensive RPG elements. Select from various Demigods, each ready for combat with distinct skills and awe-inspiring powers. Defeat other aspiring gods as you level up, gain strength, unlock the potential of mystic artifacts, and fight your way toward joining the Pantheon. Key features: A revolutionary strategy/action game merging tactical skill with RPG depth. Your Demigod acts as the center of your power in the arena; all 8 included Demigods possess unique powers. Similar to an RPG, players can buy equipment, gain new powers through experience, and acquire persistent artifacts. Each Demigod offers a distinct playstyle. Similar to a strategy game, players have strategic objectives that, when captured, provide resources for better units. Some Demigods can summon individually controllable minions. There are gold mines to capture for extra resources and artifact shops that benefit your team. Battle in a persistent online world or play single-player in skirmish or virtual tournament mode. The online pantheon allows skirmishing against players of similar skill or participating in the Pantheon tournament where players choose light or darkness and earn favor points for their faction. LAN and custom games are also available. Players earn favor points through victory and specific in-game achievements, which can be used to buy special persistent items. Increase your Demigod's powers by leveling up during each battle. Starting at level 1, you gain experience by killing enemies and capturing flags, allowing you to add new skills to become more powerful. Wage massive, earth-shattering battles across awe-inspiring Arenas. Using the same impressive technology as Supreme Commander but enhanced with Gas Powered Games' new "mesh" tech, the game features incredible visuals even on older video cards. The Arenas are crafted as full 3D models rather than standard maps. Seize key strategic positions to turn the tide against your enemy. Push into their base and destroy them for good. Key resources are controlled by capturing flags, benefiting the entire team. Controlling flags generates war points for your team's war score, unlocking new upgrades in the Citadel for purchase when enough points are collected.
