About This Game
Recently, Eastside Hockey Manager has released its first official Data Pack through a partnership with the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL), offering official data, logos, and faces via Steam Workshop. Having graduated from Early Access, EHM is now fully available. The game delivers the most authentic and immersive hockey management experience, enabling players to oversee clubs or national teams in leading hockey nations worldwide. Users have total authority over their roster, making decisions on signings, trades, and drafts. After assembling a coaching staff, managers can either hire a head coach or assume the role themselves, watching games live or via highlights using a realistic 2D "top-down" engine. To celebrate its full launch, EHM includes expanded domestic leagues and cup competitions, Steam Workshop integration, various screen resolutions, and multiplayer support for up to 30 competitors, alongside other user-inspired enhancements. Key features include a dynamic 2D engine with advanced physics and AI, a realistic world with over 30 playable leagues, and a multiplayer mode allowing 30 users to compete. Steam Workshop integration allows for custom databases and graphics. Users can manage complete rosters through contracts, scouting, and trading, while also controlling non-playing personnel like coaches and physios. Tactical control allows for setting strategies at the team, unit, or player level. Trade negotiations involve gauging interest and receiving assistant feedback, with AI teams having specific rebuilding or win-now strategies. The interface features a centralized navigation bar. Player progression is natural with juniors entering and veterans retiring, using role-based attributes. International management includes U20 teams in various tournaments. The game supports importing user-generated or historical databases. Additional features include financial modeling for salary caps, a nation overview screen, player profiles, fantasy drafts, and all-star games with skills competitions.
