About This Game
This title has received updates featuring a completely new interface, optimized gamepad compatibility, and minor adjustments to keyboard, mouse, and touch operations. Full-screen display is now supported up to 21:9, and language settings have been expanded to include Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Korean, Thai, and Japanese. Additionally, small bugs have been fixed. Originally launched in 1991 as the fourth installment of the FINAL FANTASY series, the game became wildly popular due to its unique characters and dramatic storylines, eventually being ported to many different platforms. It was the first to introduce the Active Time Battle (ATB) system, which became synonymous with the series, as well as the Augment system, enabling the transfer of abilities from one character to another. This iconic version offers several amazing features, including voice acting for key event scenes and deeply emotional character portrayals. A brand-new mapping feature starts players with a blank dungeon map, adding an element of the unknown. A jukebox function allows players to listen to the game's music whenever they choose. Further enhancements include high-resolution graphics and retouched cutscenes. The interface has been updated to match gamepad controls, difficulty can be selected from Normal to Hard, and new save functions, including autosave, allow players to quit at any time without fear of losing progress.
