Experience serves to repair glitches, unlocking new zones and advancing the plot. Every activity yields progress, whether you join the Hero Academy, raise creatures known as bebos, explore, or bond with your party. At any point, you can converse with Gus about his life, surroundings, or the nature of existence. Over time, he will realize you are not merely a visitor, but something far more complex. Combat is devoid of random battles or grinding; conflicts arise only when characters seek to sway a situation. Victories and defeats steer the story, eliminating the need for a game over screen. The turn-based system utilizes skills, energy, and quirks to keep encounters dynamic, allowing you to collect abilities and customize your team. Key features include over 20 potential allies, a monster-raising mechanic for bebos, friendship and romance systems, and countless achievements.
