Love is the one thing that will never hurt anyone. STORY: This narrative unfolds in a distant future where a catastrophic war has devastated the planet. Ashes obscure the sky, vegetation is gone, and water has vanished, leading to a severe drop in human numbers. The survivors cling together to stay alive. In this era, a Phiroid—a robot capable of emotion—awakens in a crumbling factory. Created before the war to be human partners, these robots were meant to improve lives. Upon waking, this Phiroid realizes its emotions are non-functional. Its right hand is bare of artificial skin, showing incomplete machinery. Driven by a longing to be with humans, it embarks on a journey to reclaim its emotions across the wasteland. Eventually found by a young girl who believes he is human, he is brought to a charming small town. While living with her, the Phiroid gradually discovers what emotions are. What is Kinetic Novel? A unique entertainment format focused solely on storytelling—neither a novel, anime, nor game. It aims to provide an immersive sense of presence and character empathy through high-quality scenarios, visuals, and music. CHARACTER: "The Emotionless Mechanical Boy" Rei: Waking in factory ruins, his right hand lacks skin due to incomplete production. He wanders the ruined world seeking human company until found by Shiona, who names him. "The Girl who Sings her Feelings" Shiona (CV: Kaori Mizuhashi): She discovers Rei and lives in a church within a makeshift town. Her smile never fades, and she comforts others, describing emotions as shapes and colors. She loves singing. "The Blue Little Lady from the Library" Tipi (CV: Misaki Kuno): Resides in the town's library in an era of digital books. She is often crying and called the "blue girl" by Shiona.
