Following the political changes of summer 2016 and the ensuing events, Britain became increasingly estranged from the global community. Frustrated by the downfall of her formerly illustrious nation, the Queen determined that the elected representatives at Westminster were unfit to lead the United Kingdom. Upon dissolving Parliament and restoring autocratic rule, the nation saw immediate and extensive improvements. However, always the pragmatist, Her Majesty decided that due to the difficulties Britain encountered in reclaiming earthly power, it was time to direct her focus elsewhere. Establishing S.P.I.F.F.I.N.G. (Special Planetary Investigative Force For Inhabiting New Galaxies), Her Majesty has turned to the stars to found a new Galactic British Empire. Taking command of the futuristic vessel HMSS Imperialise and her crew—decorated veteran and gentleman Captain Frank Lee English, along with his mild-mannered South Walean associate, Aled—YOU will explore the cosmos. You will solve puzzles, exchange witty banter, cope with crippling claustrophobia, and gradually succumb to prolonged cosmic radiation exposure, all for Queen and Country. In fact, during your travels, you might encounter other adventurers exploring the cosmos with their own intergalactic ambitions.
