About This Game
In celebration of Kou Shibusawa's 35th anniversary, the "Kou Shibusawa Archives" is arriving on the Steam Store to resurrect beloved classics. This fourth installment features "Ishin no Arashi," a title from 1988. The narrative is set during the twilight of the Tokugawa Shogunate, where users assume the identity of one of twelve significant historical personalities, such as Ryoma Sakamoto, Kaishu Katsu, and Takamori Saigo. Players must lead Japan toward emancipation by utilizing both diplomatic and military tactics to consolidate the 13 domains under a unified philosophy, be it devotion to the shogunate, the emperor, or the will of the people.
