"Just Shapes & Beats" is a chaotic cooperative musical bullet-hell experience based on three simple rules: dodge Shapes, groove to the awesome Beats, and die frequently. It offers a fresh twist on the SHMUP genre by emphasizing cooperation, as everything is better with friends. You can play solo or with up to four players, locally or online, through Story Mode or Challenge Runs. If you love music, you are in luck, as the game features 48 hand-crafted stages with licensed tracks from over 20 chiptune and EDM artists. The experience hits hard both visually and audibly. Gather your squad for 4-player co-op with drop-in, drop-out functionality, whether for a house party or an online session. If you lack friends, you can make new ones through quick online challenge runs. If you prefer playing alone, the game is just as fun, offering a different experience. The game includes various modes: Story Mode helps you learn with intermediate tracks and an optional Casual mode, while Challenge Runs test your skills on random tracks. You can practice difficult tracks in the Playlist to master them. It also serves as the ultimate party soundtrack; use Party Mode to energize your social gatherings, and guests can play along if they wish.
