About This Game

Fans of martial arts movies will celebrate! Kings of Kung Fu was created primarily for admirers of classic Kung Fu flicks and is designed to be accessible to gamers ranging from casual to mid-core, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience. Players receive a challenge from a mysterious combatant named Red Ronin to embody one of 14 martial arts stuntmen and compete in a one-on-one tournament to prove their value and secure a starring role in the studio's next major production. Each fighter's technique is based on genuine moves from martial arts cinema, utilizing their bodies as weapons. Refined in various distinct methods of physical combat, every style features hundreds of attacks, counters, blocks, and grapples, extending from fundamental kicks and punches to advanced strikes and combo chains to destroy opponents. Selectable combatants include Tao Lung the Chinese Boxing Master, Chen Fu the Drunken Style master, Ron Jones with his fierce Shorun-ryu Karate, Hou Feng wielding his wild Monkey Style, Lo Wei the Shaolin Master, John Deux the Kickboxing expert, Ju Mao a Hapkido champion, and the Muay Thai Master Chang Tai. Also featured are The White Stallion of Shotokan Karate, Lo Chi the grappling brawler, Ken Suguri master of Karate and Ninjitsu, and Yuen Wong with his Wing Chun and mixed Kung Fu styles. Entering the tournament for a shot at fame are two new stuntmen: Jane Fury and Shen Wu. The game boasts a 14-character roster plus a boss character, 15 unique and dynamic stages inspired by classic films, over 100 unique moves per fighter including advanced moves and throws, a soundtrack with over 20 songs influenced by classic Kung Fu films and old-school hip hop, and gameplay modes allowing you to fight the computer in Arcade Mode, challenge a friend in Local Multiplayer, or master skills in Practice Mode.
