About This Game

Serving as the final installment of the Final Fantasy XIII saga, Lightning Returns depicts the last battle of the series heroine Lightning. The trilogy's finale introduces a revitalized world, flexible character customization, and breathtaking action battles. As the planet descends into a sea of chaos, only thirteen days remain before total annihilation. Despite the inevitable end, hope persists for those who inhabit the world. Awakening from centuries of crystal stasis, a legendary warrior named Lightning has risen to save the souls of humanity on a divine mission. Armed with extraordinary strength and new weapons, she is prepared for the fight, yet she lacks the most crucial resource: time. She now faces an impossible decision. Included in-game are various DLC schemata such as "Divine Wear," "Moogle Lover," "Ultimate Saviour," "FFX-2 Yuna," "FFVII Cloud," "FFX Yuna," "Tomb Raider," "Shining Prince," "Dark Samurai," "Sohei Savior," "Utsusemi," "Art of War," "Flower of Battle," and "Shogun," excluding the "FFVII Aerith" schemata. Key features include controlling Lightning with a highly evolved set of techniques for combat and exploration, where outfits and weapons influence her abilities. The new battle system provides direct control over the action unlike any previous game in the series. The PC release contains all DLC from the original console version, including costumes, shields, and weapons, with Japanese voice-overs. The game features a stunning, constantly moving world with a day-night cycle that offers unique experiences. Time management is essential as certain areas and missions are only accessible at specific times. The version also supports high-end PC graphics options, full screen and windowed modes, a 60fps frame rate, and resolution up to 3840x2160.
