Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons

A ruinous war has fractured the galaxy, leading to the collapse of regimes, the ascent of warlords, and numerous planets breaking away to form new coalitions. Amidst this widespread corruption and anarchy, private mercenary groups are recruited to impose stability and broker peace among the factions. You are in charge of the Black Talons, a company operating out of the Oberon system. In the wake of a significant campaign, the Tzanar Union has invaded and taken Genai, sealing off all escape routes from the area and leaving your team stranded. To survive, you must aid the Genai resistance in defeating the occupation and taking back their home. The game features a substantial campaign where your decisions alter the power dynamics of the region, persistent and fully customizable squads, and various unit classes each with specific roles, weapons, abilities, and skill trees. You will battle across 5 different worlds with unique environmental conditions, call upon powerful mechs to change the course of war, and upgrade your base with structures that increase troop capacity, allow for teleportation, or provide artillery support. Furthermore, your standing with different factions will impact your journey, potentially granting access to rare units or complicating your missions.
