About This Game
MEDIEVAL: Total War™ - Collection Edition brings together the award-winning Medieval: Total War and its official add-on, Viking Invasion. Spanning from the first Crusade to the fall of Constantinople, the main game challenges players to wage war across Western Europe and Northern Africa over four centuries. You will recruit armies, besiege castles, and employ agents like spies and assassins to build a dynasty. Experience epic clashes with up to 10,000 soldiers, manage fourteen factions, and navigate a new siege system influenced by Valour, Vice, and Virtues. The Viking Invasion expansion takes place between 793 and 1066 on an extended map of the British Isles and Scandinavia. Choose to lead Viking raiders or Anglo-Saxon defenders such as Wessex and Mercia. This expansion adds new factions, units, and gameplay features, including flaming ammunition for the original campaign.
