You are a student magician completing your training. During a lecture on unlocking doors at the Great Wizard's temple, your clumsiness led to the disappearance of all the phials and scrolls he had cataloged over many years. Naturally, the Very Great Wizard is furious, and your chances of passing the final exam are slim. Consequently, to earn your magician's diploma, you must retrieve most of the lost phials and scrolls. This is a difficult task because they were scattered into parallel realms ruled by unprincipled gods envious of magical power. Despite his anger, the Immense Wizard permits you to use the potions in the phials and the spells on the scrolls for defense. He will watch your journey via his crystal ball, using his infinite power to transport you between worlds and resurrect you if you die. However, his patience is far shorter than his abilities; he will only spare your life twice before subjecting you to his worst punishment.
