Mixing intense run-and-gun action with deep roguelike systems, Neon Abyss puts you in the role of a member of the 'Grim Squad,' a strike force created by Hades to enter the Abyss and vanquish the New Gods. Dying is merely a setback that leaves you stronger than before. As you traverse dungeons, random loot drops provide passive abilities that stack together, and since there is no cap on these effects, the combinations are endless, creating a fresh adventure each time. Progression allows you to unlock new environments, gear, bosses, special modifiers, and endings, meaning dungeons expand and adapt to your specific style of play. You can also find eggs that hatch into companions with unique powers, evolving into stronger allies as you survive longer.
