About This Game
On a misty night in 1912, the Pattersons - a proud yet financially struggling noble family from Britain - and several close acquaintances arrive at the Malachi castle, home to a rich Romanian Count. In merely three days, the family's eldest daughter Rebecca will marry the Count's son, merging the families' lineages and hopefully restoring the Pattersons' prestige.
The only missing family member is you, the bride's brother, traveling from Stockholm where you represented Britain in Olympic fencing. You're scheduled to arrive later that evening.
Sir Patterson expresses disappointment when the Count fails to welcome the family personally, yet he allows the servants to escort them to their quarters without raising strong objections. Only later - when doors slam shut and are locked behind them - does he comprehend his error: they have become captives, completely at the Count's mercy...
