Assemble a faithful group of followers and endure the trek across a shattered planet. Assuming the role of a formidable leader and mystic, you possess the gift of technopathy, allowing you to sense and manipulate electrical currents. You are the final hope for a group of exiles and refugees, guiding them through procedurally generated wastelands. Engage greedy slavers and erratic machines in turn-based card battles. Can you last long enough to discover the enigmatic Crypt? Highlights include a card-based tactical combat system, procedurally generated maps, loot discovery and follower recruitment, unlockable content across multiple runs, over 300 cards, and an Indian-inspired electronica soundtrack. Nowhere Prophet is a single-player roguelike deck-builder featuring procedural maps, high difficulty, and permadeath. The gameplay centers on two pillars: Travel and Combat. During Travel, navigate a procedural map, manage convoy resources, and choose your route. You will encounter strange locations and individuals, facing decisions that determine your followers' fate. Rewards can be invested to upgrade decks, recruit new units, or level up your Prophet for stronger combat abilities. In Combat, you must defeat enemies to protect your convoy and resources, sometimes fighting for loot or righteousness. The game shifts to a turn-based card mode. Deploy convoy cards to place followers on the field and position them to defeat opponents, or use action cards to alter the battlefield. Be cautious: wounds require time to heal, and if a follower sustains too much damage, they are gone forever. Set on the distant planet Soma, the story takes place long after the Crash, a total technological collapse. Civilization has crumbled, and scarcity has driven many to banditry or madness. Leading a convoy of outcasts in a world inspired by Indian culture, you guide desperate souls seeking a better future through the wastelands. Your destination is the Crypt, a mystical sanctuary promising pure technology and safety—if you can survive to find it.
