About This Game

Nuclear Dawn is the first game to provide a comprehensive FPS and RTS experience within a unified gameplay structure, ensuring neither aspect is diluted. As a soldier, explore post-apocalyptic landscapes based on modern cities and engage enemies as assault, armored, or stealth infantry. Utilize a variety of weapons across ten distinct load-outs to complete objectives. The FPS gameplay is intense, fast-paced, and unforgiving, favoring skill and tactics over reflexes and map knowledge. Alternatively, assume the role of commander and oversee the battle. Organize players into squads and assign tactical objectives. Plan resource routes and manage structure production for forward deployment. Use terrain and resource points to block enemy progress and crush their opposition. Research new technologies to give your forces the advantage and establish forward bases with a range of defensive and offensive structures. Features include two factions, the Empire and the Consortium, with unique base-building paradigms. As an RTS commander, produce structures, research technology, and launch strikes. Choose from four classes with dozens of weapons. Participate in 32-player squad-based warfare on six large, detailed maps. Use advanced weaponry abilities to heal troops or kill enemies. Progress through 60 ranks with 12 weapon unlocks, achievements, and gizmos. The game includes an SDK for custom maps, runs on the L4D2 engine, supports Steam Workshop, and is available on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX with Steam Cloud support.
