About This Game

Pamali: Indonesian Folklore Horror delivers a scare heavily influenced by genuine Indonesian taboos and cultural traditions. Your adventure is dictated by your decisions, ensuring that every horror encounter feels unique to the player. The first story, Folklore One: The White Lady, follows Jaka, a young man returning to his hometown to sell his ancestral home. As he cleans and renovates, he disrespects family heirlooms, triggering unexplained phenomena and revealing a dark family secret. You will explore an abandoned Indonesian home with a terrifying atmosphere, searching for the truth while being careful not to offend the resident spirit. Interaction with various objects allows you to speak your mind, whether praising or mocking items, which influences the world and story in repeatable playthroughs. The game features multiple endings based on your choices, such as running away immediately or daring to confront the entity. Investigating the mystery unlocks deeper lore about Jaka's family and the White Lady. This is the first of four planned folklores, with future stories releasing as DLC, each offering distinct settings and mystical beings.
