About This Game
Although the ocean is perilous, leading an elite strike boat crew allows you to turn the tide. The lethal WWII naval force is back with additional campaigns, more combat aircraft and vessels, and significantly enhanced gameplay mechanics. Building on the original "PT Boats: Knights of the Sea," which revealed a new side of WWII naval warfare, the "South Gambit" add-on puts you in command of a lethal torpedo boat in two new operational theaters. The roster of authentic warships, weapons, and aircraft is now expanded to include the Soviet IL-2 attack plane, German He-111H-6 torpedo bomber, Italian Condottieri cruiser, and many others. You will fight in the Mediterranean, transporting British troops and supplies to Libya and Tunis, and escorting convoys to Malta during operations "Harpoon," "Vigorous," and "Pedestal." Afterwards, you will be deployed to the Black Sea to engage in dramatic historic battles where the Nazi "Kriegsmarine" attempts to cut off supply lines between Sevastopol and Novorossiysk. Your missions will involve night raids on enemy bases and artillery attacks on Nazi forces in Yalta and Anapa. Key Features: Upgraded graphics and more realistic seascapes. Improved AI algorithms. New gameplay elements including torpedo bombers and minefields. New authentic units like the Soviet IL-2 "Flying tank" and D-3 torpedo boat, German He-111H-6 and Ju-88 bombers, Italian Navigatori destroyer, Condottieri cruiser, and MAS-500 torpedo boat. The distinctive PT Boats blend of simulation, strategy, and tactical action.
