About This Game

Railgunners is a shooter game featuring highly adjustable difficulty options. Choose from three distinct characters, each piloting a unique experimental ship equipped with powerful armaments and special capabilities. Your objective is to battle through hundreds of enemy vessels to aid humanity in resisting the alien incursion, culminating in an assault on the Mothership's main reactor. Progressing requires surviving numerous stages that challenge your strategic thinking and reflexes. The gameplay operates on a challenging cycle: you are launched from a giant Railgun to face enemy forces. Since the ship's technology consumes significant energy, it slowly depletes; the round concludes when you are shot down or energy runs out, teleporting you back to base. You must remain aggressive and chain enemy kills to replenish energy and unlock advanced powers. Clearing levels grants special weapons and mods that enhance your ship or alter gameplay, enabling you to last longer and complete your mission. The game features three playable characters with unique skills, hand-crafted levels, procedural enemy placement requiring adaptive tactics, ship customization, and reflex-testing challenges.
