About This Game

Sea Dogs is an immersive role-playing adventure designed for anyone who dreams of being a pirate. Journey back to the age of sail as a young captain determined to forge a legacy. Start from nothing and evolve into a powerful ruler who can seize all the islands for your nation or personal gain. You can pledge loyalty to one of three nations or operate solely as a free-roaming buccaneer. Accumulate fortune and fame to purchase superior vessels and recruit skilled crews. You can also enlist other captains to help assault and capture enemy ships or fortresses. Your destination and actions are entirely your choice in this game of endless possibilities and enjoyment. Join one of four factions—British, French, Spanish, or Pirate—or switch sides mid-game. The nonlinear campaign lets you select quests or play freely. Choose from 20 distinct vessel classes ranging from tiny skiffs to massive warships. Target specific parts of enemy ships to ignite sails, snap masts, or puncture hulls. Experience realistic wind, weather systems, and a full day-night cycle.
