Sorcerer King: Rivals

Experience a game that is never identical twice. You have emerged as the leader of a developing civilization in the magical territory of Elemental. Your town resides in the shadow of a valuable magic shard and possesses the world's only Forge of the Overlord, a device capable of crafting magical items and gear. Equipped with this artifact, your citizens rely on you to challenge the Sorcerer King, a figure who has ruined the land with his minions and ruins. Unbeknownst to him, you have acquired the Spell of Ascension, which lets you harness shard magic to become a being of immense power, freeing or destroying the world at your will. However, you face competition, as other civilizations rise while the Sorcerer King plots from afar. Explore a rich environment by choosing from eight civilizations, including the Endless Night, the Dwarves of the Frozen Realm, and the Men of Altar. Find dungeons, temples, and haunted villages that offer adventures with risks and rewards. Use the map editor to craft your own world or rely on random generation for endless variety. Expand into a deep history by meeting races to ally or fight with, stopping criminals, freeing towns, founding cities, researching spells, learning skills, and crafting items. Exploit a vast empire by using magic to reshape terrain, harvesting resources like metal and crystals, and hiring champions and demigods. Exterminate a myriad of foes by charging Curgen's Bane to transform into a god, gathering allies to attack the Sorcerer King's fortress, and destroying the demigods of Elemental. Go beyond the game by building worlds with the map editor, designing quests with the quest editor, and sharing your content via the Steam Workshop.
