About This Game

We are proud to launch the Windows edition of the classic hit Space Mouse, developed by Takanari Suzuki, Japan's first celebrity game designer! The year 2016 celebrates Space Mouse's 35th anniversary, and Mindware Co., Ltd. is marking the event with a compilation of five games comprising two ports of the original, two MZ-700-style arrange versions, and one NES-style arrange version. The NES arranged version features major enhancements akin to our prior title, Cosmic Cavern 3671, combining vintage fun with modern twists. Included in the product are: An NES-style Arranged Version, An MZ-700+PCG Arranged Version, An MZ-700 Arranged Version, A Port of the PC-8001+PCG version, and A Port of the original PC-8001 version. Space Mouse first appeared in the October 1981 issue of the I/O engineering magazine for the PC-8001, earning high praise and ports to many contemporary computers. This innovative title is among the earliest to utilize vertical scrolling in video games. In this maze challenge, navigate Alice to the building's top before her oxygen depletes and without getting caught by the hostile Space Mice! Power-ups give her the ability to break through brick walls and knock those interstellar pests away! The gameplay remains simple yet deep, keeping players engaged with the timeless qualities of a classic that haven't faded in 35 years. We hope you enjoy Space Mouse for years to come!
