Russell Stone serves as a Jewish Rabbi leading a struggling synagogue in New York City. Being a devout individual, he faces a dire issue. Congregation numbers have severely dropped, leaving him without the finances needed to maintain his synagogue. The outlook is extremely grim, and as time has passed, he has become increasingly resentful and jaded. Right when he is about to abandon everything, he gets unexpected news. A past member of his congregation has deceased and gifted the Rabbi a large sum of cash. Is this a gift from above? Or the beginning of something much darker?
