About This Game

Set in a dark fantasy realm where moral ambiguity prevails, The Witcher is a role-playing game that prioritizes story and character evolution alongside a deep, real-time combat system. As Geralt of Rivia, a charismatic swordmaster, you are drawn into a web of intrigue as factions vie for control. Customize your character with over 250 special abilities, skills, and magical powers. The narrative, inspired by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, offers a non-linear storyline full of twists and ambiguous decisions that lead to three distinct endings. Combat features six styles, alchemy, and magic, all based on real medieval techniques motion-captured by experts. The Enhanced Edition introduces technical improvements, including reduced loading times, better stability, and a more responsive combat system. It also offers 5000 rewritten dialogue lines and an enhanced inventory with an alchemy sack. Included in this package are bonus items like an interactive comic, the D'jinni Adventure Editor, two new adventures providing over 5 hours of gameplay, the official soundtrack, a "Music Inspired by The Witcher" album, "Making of" videos, an official game guide, and two world maps.
